Event Based Group Training

Adventurer is a group training option for those interested in trail running, obstacle course racing and multisport adventure races in New Zealand, and overseas.

  • 6-8 week training plan (depending on intake) and nutrition support

Adventurer

This is an introductory adventure race in Auckland with 3 or 6 hour race options for 2 or 4 person teams.

The race involves running, orienteering, mountain biking (P6 only), and mystery team events.

The aim is to collect as many points as you can from specific checkpoints throughout the course - without getting lost and before time runs out.

Intake details:

  • Training starts Monday 16 September 2019
  • For this event, you need to live in Auckland, New Zealand
  • Spaces are limited to 10-15 per event

Matakana X Race

One of my favourite events on the Auckland OCR calendar, the Matakana X Race is a great endurance challenge! 

It's a two-person obstacle race with 6km or 9km distance options - you can read more about last year's race over on the blog.

The race involves mud, water, obstacles and a whole lot of action. There are limited places with this event so you'll need to enter early to ensure your spot.
